Sergio Pallottelli: Masterclass @ Flutistry Boston

THE ARTIST SESSIONS WITH SERGIO PALLOTTELLI
We are pleased to welcome our friend Sergio Pallottelli to the Flutistry Boston Concert Room this Friday and Saturday February 10 and 11! Mr. Pallottelli is an extraordinary soloist, chamber musician, teacher, and is known for his incredible skill and committed artistry both here and abroad. He is the founder, director, and artist teacher of FLAUTI AL CASTELLO. Hosted in scenic Italy, this long-running summer masterclass intensive features Sergio and an esteemed guest artist/teacher – this year’s class will feature Mark Sparks (principal flute, St. Louis Symphony Orchestra).
RECITAL AND MASTERCLASS
Our 2-day event will begin on Friday night February 10 at 8 pm with a full artist recital featuring Sergio and pianist William Braun in the works of Poulenc, Borne, Beethoven, Blauth, and Casella. This will be followed by a masterclass event on Saturday, February 11 at 5 pm where Sergio will work with students on classic repertoire for flute.
SPECIAL EVENT: “WHAT WOOD YOU PLAY?”
In honor of Sergio’s unique modern wood Boehm system flute set-up, Flutistry Boston will be featuring an incredible array of wood flute products throughout regular business hours on Friday and Saturday. It is a very rare opportunity to try such a wide variety of wood products under one roof at one time. If you have ever been curious about wood flutes and headjoints – now is the time to try! We will have products in various price points by manufacturers such as Powell, Mancke, Arista, Di Zhao, Yamaha, and S. Kotel and more!
